The eurozone´s finance ministers decided late on 1 July to stop any talks on further assistance to Greece until the referendum on the international creditors´ support takes place on 5 July. In an unanimous decision after a one-hour teleconference, the Eurogroup cut all ties with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, as he strongly critisised the creditors´ position and called on the Greek people to vote 'no' in the referendum.
