Legislative amendments from a number of Nordic MEPs in the European Parliament risk threatening the legality of the European Union’s landmark ban on the trade of seal products, Humane Society International (HSI) has said.
If successful, the proposals could bring the EU in contravention with World Trade Organisation rules, the group warns. Others, however, disagree.
