“China would like Greece to stay in the eurozone” for the sake “not only of the EU but also of China and the rest of the world,” Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang told a press conference following the EU-China summit, on 29 June.
He expressed hope that Athens reaches “an early agreement” with its international creditors and underlined that China would continue to play “a constructive role” in the ongoing efforts to restructure Greece's debt.
