Concrete wind turbine towers exceeding 100 metres, a new type of concentrated photovoltaic cell twice as efficient as the cells currently used, and hybrid cars consuming 2.9 litres per 100 kilometres: these research projects are at the forefront of France’s innovation in energy and environment.
